Summer is upon us! This season is the best time to visit many US national park units – and everyone knows it. Overcrowding is a big problem, and the park service is hard at work trying to mitigate crowds. We all want to check the big parks off our lists, but there are hidden gems with just as much beauty – and history – waiting for you.
