Surviving the Trapper Fire: Glacier National Park

We recently visited Glacier National Park, staying at the iconic Granite Park Chalet. In this episode, we share a full recount of our trip, and along the way, we discovered a story we had never heard before. One evening at the chalet, survivors of the 2003 Trapper Fire, which nearly destroyed the building, shared their experiences of taking shelter inside the stone structure as flames roared around them. In this episode, we bring that story to you, just as we learned it during our stay.
