For Arielle Konig’s 36th birthday in March of 2025, her husband Gerhardt organized a couples getaway on O'ahu. He selected a trail for the pair to hike with beautiful sweeping vistas - and dangerous cliffs. The versions of what happened on the trail vary depending on who is telling it - but one thing is for certain. Two hikers rushed to Arielle’s aide when they heard her screams for help, and came upon a horrific scene.
